Chanakya - Learn 10 Creative Stratigies

1. “He who lives in our mind is near though he may actually be far away; but he who is not in our heart is far though he may really be nearby.”
People's perception is their reality.
2. “Before you start some work, always ask yourself three questions - Why am I doing it, What the results might be and Will I be successful. Only when you think deeply and find satisfactory answers to these questions, go ahead.”
If you're not attempting something that you believe in and have passion for, it becomes very difficult to find solutions and keep your creativity in flow. Always have a vision and a clear goal before taking the next step.
3. “Let not a single day pass without your learning a verse, half a verse, or a fourth of it, or even one letter of it; nor without attending to charity, study and other pious activity.”
Start every day with a challenge, this will keep you motivated. Results are what is seen in the eyes of the outside world, not your hard work. Set smaller goals for yourself each day to complete your final goal, reach at least a couple of the smaller goals before your head hits the pillow at night.
4. “One whose knowledge is confined to books and whose wealth is in the possession of others, can use neither his knowledge nor wealth when the need for them arises.”
Don't bend for authority, take responsibility for yourself and avoid to do things that are already done. Take risks and learn from your own experience, then you can come to authentic conclusions.
5. “We should not fret for what is past, nor should we be anxious about the future; men of discernment deal only with the present moment.”
You cannot worry too much about the faults you've done in the past, move on. To achieve great things in the future, you need to have the commitment today and not postpone hard work. Try out ideas the instant you get them. Just do it, life becomes so much more exciting.
6. “The one excellent thing that can be learned from a lion is that whatever a man intends doing should be done by him with a whole-hearted and strenuous effort.”
If you're not sure that you're going to give 100 % then your chances of succeeding are extremely low, for the simple reason that there are competitors out there who are ready to give 110% for the same goal.
7. “Knowledge is lost without putting it into practice”
No matter how many books you have and how good you are at understanding other people's thinking, it doesn't matter if you don't take the second step and put that knowledge into action!
8. If one has a good disposition, what other virtue is needed? If a man has fame, what is the value of other ornamentation?
Stick to your idea and have your own category. Coke is famous for soda drinks, they don't break their brand by making cars. Your idea should be strong enough to stand alone.
9. “The earth is supported by the power of truth; it is the power of truth that makes the sun shine and the winds blow; indeed all things rest upon truth.”
Deceiving will never give anyone a long career. If what you have to offer is authentic in the perception of your customer and it's easy to understand what you stand for, then your work will rise by itself.
10. “Although an ass is tired, he continues to carry his burden; he is unmindful of cold and heat; and he is always contented; these three things should be learned from the ass.”
To reach your goals your life can't surround great pleasure, you have to take risks and endure tiredness as well as struggle. Set up high goals and do everything you can to grasp them!

Niti Shastra : Chapter Seventeen

1. The scholar who has acquired knowledge by studying innumerable books
without the blessings of a bonafide spiritual master does not shine in an
assembly of truly learned men just as an illegitimate child is not honoured in
society.

Niti Shastra : Chapter Sixteen

1. The heart of a woman is not united; it is divided. While she is talking with
one man, she looks lustfully at another and thinks fondly of a third in her
heart.
2. The fool (mudha) who fancies that a charming young lady loves him,
becomes her slave and he dances like a shakuntal bird tied to a string.

Niti Shastra : Chapter Fifteen

1. For one whose heart melts with compassion for all creatures; what is the
necessity of knowledge, liberation, matted hair on the head, and smearing the
body with ashes?

Niti Shastra : Chapter Fourteen

1. Poverty, disease, sorrow, imprisonment and other evils are the fruits borne
by the tree of one's own sins.
2. Wealth, a friend, a wife, and a kingdom may be regained; but this body
when lost may never be acquired again.
